Yoga Parties
Why to have a yoga party:
Hosting a yoga party is a healthy,
unusual way to bring people together. Yoga is a great
way to work together in a group, or meditate with your
friends. It can be peaceful and serious, but it has
it’s playful moments. Yoga is also relaxing and
restorative. So set aside the wine, cheese and brats,
and pull out the yoga mats! I will work with you to
set a yoga program that integrates
your theme and celebrates your idea.
The basic party is
an hour of yoga instruction at your
venue or home. I
bring mats and props for you to use.
Price is based on time, number of attendees, and selected add-ons.

(608) 270-9130 Yoga Birthday Parties for ages 5 to
500:
Children's birthday
party, ages 5 and up
We can get their
bodies moving in a playful way to
explore motion and ability and add
in some non-competetive games.
Teenage birthday party
Many teenagers are into sports, how
about a sport-specific yoga class?
We could work on their back flexibilty and confidence for
walk-overs, or upper body twists
and extension for golf. Hamstrings
often need a lot of attention if
you're an athlete. Learn the safest
ways to loosen your hamstrings.
Adult birthday party
Now
is the time for your dream yoga class--let's
do all the poses you love, or maybe
you've never tried yoga but are looking
forward to the many years of long,
happy, healthy life that an exercise
program can bring you, or just celebrate
the child still within you with something
playful or adventurous.
Senior
birthday party
We can do many things
that suit the seniors in your life,
maybe emphasizing stretching, maybe
not getting down on the floor,
but sitting in chairs and standing
up. Perhaps you know a few seniors
who are marathoners and would like
a good, relaxing stretch?
Other Occasions to have a yoga party:
Anniversary
At an anniversary yoga party we might do some partner
poses or hold hands in a twist. How about beginning
the session by massaging each other’s feet and
end by holding hands in meditation, or resting back
to back?
Graduation
A graduation is a time of transition, so we could
spend time exploring some interesting and fun ways
to get into and out of poses. Maybe it is time to
learn a headstand, or spread your wings and fly in
Eagle or Crow?
Retirement
Time to relax and unwind from all the stresses of
the work-a-day life. If you had a job at the computer
or desk all day, we might work on untightening those
kinked-up shoulders and necks, lengthening our backs
and bringing the circulation and strength back to
our legs and feet.
Baby shower
Prenatal yoga for everybody! Or if the baby has already
arrived, postnatal yoga.
Rewards
When you or your team does well at a task or athletic
competition reward them with party to soothe your
sore muscles and get ready for the next challenge.
Wedding shower
Learn how to “put down your roots” with
tree and other balancing poses. There are so many
beautiful couple poses to explore too!

Food
Menu design
I have fifteen years of experience as a chef to draw
from. My specialties are Mediterranean style cooking,
vegetarian, and cooking for special diets. I worked
for a time for Dr.
Dean Ornish in California, cooking and developing
his special diet for reversing heart disease.
Catering
recomendation
Although I help
design a menu,
I cannot cater
your party.
Instead I can recommend experienced chef-for-hire,
Deb
Shapiro, who is willing to either handle
all the food preparation at your party site,
assist you, or everything in between.
